Ribar Cafe
(In Cooperation with Sasan Rezaee & Shirin Aryanpour's mosaic tables)
Ribar Cafe is located in Zaferaniye, time museum and is a semi-open cafe having both open and closed spaces for people to eat and also has the flexibility to be totally covered in winter time for heating purposes and to be totally semi-open in summer time. It is 150 square meters with 80 seats, VIP area, a defined space for buffet tables, a long counter/bar, a cold kitchen behind the counter and a hot kitchen (40 square meters) in a separate area of the museum/garden. The tables are in two different kinds (some are outdoor rustic tables and the others are metal/mosaic tables by Shirin Aryanpour).
The whole renovation process has been done in 6 days because of the client's requirement. A continuing short brick wall has made around the site with the purpose of defining space and creating spaces for plants and proper lighting. This old white brick has also been used in the construction of the VIP seats and the main counter/bar whereas the main wall behind the counter is made of green carved wooden panels. Finally, new outdoor mosaics as flooring and light systems for the new roofs have been applied as well.
